12,000 t/d Claudius Peters ETA Cooler to Conch

Claudius Peters (CP) announced that it has signed a contract with China’s largest cement producer, Anhui Conch Cement, to supply a 12,000 t/d ETA Cooler for the new cement plant in the Yangchuan district of China.

This new 12,000 t/d cement line was designed by the Conch Design Institute to include the CP ETA cooler. This will be the largest ETA cooler built by Claudius Peters and the thirteenth ETA cooler supplied to Conch in recent years.

The new cooler has 13 static inlet rows and 12 parallel aerated lanes with 7 air chambers in the first stage and 5 air chambers in the second stage. A built-in heat recovery system will recycle the used cooler air.

To guarantee a uniform clinker discharge size, CP will also be supplying its largest roller crusher which measures 22 feet wide.

Ideally located, Yangchun city is south west of Guangdong Province, and has a gross area of 4054.7sq.km with a population of 1.1 million. It is easily accessible by road to the cities of Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Hong Kong. Installation of the CP cooler and crusher is scheduled for early 2013 with start up in the summer.
