Silo and packing system for PT SEMEN BATURAJA

Claudius Peters (CP) has just been awarded the order for a cement storage silo and packing plant in Baturaja, Indonesia by PT SEMEN BATURAJA, a state owned cement supplier on South Sumatra Island.

PT Semen Baturaja are installing a new cement grinding, storage and packing system to expand their current cement production capacity to meet the higher demands of cement. CP will be supplying their latest design of the well proven EC – Silo to store a capacity of up to 10,000 tonnes and a cement rotary packing machine capable of handling 120 tonnes per hour complete with fully automatic bag applicator. PT Semen Baturaja, a valued client of CP, has already installed CP clinker cooling technology.

A total of eight silos and twelve packing systems has now been supplied to the Indonesian market over recent years - a testament to the reliability and quality of CP equipment.
