Claudius Peters and Aumund recently held their first joint symposium which covered the latest technologies available to the industry today, as well as an overview of the cement industry in Iran in general. The event took place at the Simorgh Hotel in Tehran. Approximately 100 participants from various cement plants and consulting companies joined the symposium. Claudius Peters presented their full range of "techniks", and in particular focused on the latest developments in packing plants and the cost benefits of installing the latest Claudius Peters pneumatic conveying system – the FLUIDCON. Claudius Peters also gave information as to how caking and blockages in cement storage silos can be overcome as well as an overview of the advantages of a new clinker cooling system.
