New Order for a Gypsum Calcining Plant
Claudius Peters was recently awarded a contract from a German-Czech consortium for the delivery of a gypsum calcining plant with a capacity of 12,5 t/h. The scope of supply comprises a HIC (horizontal impact calciner) to calcine FGD gypsum, the first of its kind ordered. The HIC has been specifically developed for the calcination of synthetic gypsum. The material is further conditioned in a homogenizer with a capacity of 12,5 t/h to meet customers’ requirements. The calcining plant will be installed in a Czech power plant and the material will be transported in tank vehicles to Germany for further processing.

This is the 6th homogenizer supplied by Claudius Peters. The commissioning is planned for beginning of 2016.
